Formed in Mexico City in 2004, Vulgar Addiction is an extreme metal band known for its aggressive fusion of metal subgenres and complex lyrics that delve into the darkest corners of the human mind. Throughout their career, the band has released four professional recordings, firmly establishing their name within the Mexican underground metal scene and earning strong recognition from fans and specialized media alike. Their constant evolution and uncompromising sound have led them to perform extensively across Mexico, delivering an intense, brutal, and energetic live show. Vulgar Addiction has shared the stage with renowned national and international acts such as Ágora, Beyond Creation, Cemican, Destruction, Exhumed, Fear Factory, Here Comes the Kraken, Paul Di’Anno, Revocation, Strike Master, Suicidal Angels, Tim “Ripper” Owens, Vomitory, among many others. The band has also appeared at major festivals including Metal in the Forest (alongside Vader, Grave, Monstrosity, Impaled, Evil Dead, among others) and Hell and Heaven Festival (with acts such as Jinjer, Soulfly, Nervosa, Rhapsody, and more). Currently, the band is promoting their latest album, Figures in Black, a release that has drawn significant attention within the underground scene and is widely regarded as their strongest musical work to date. This album marks a new chapter for Vulgar Addiction and will take them back to the stage with an upcoming series of shows, including their first European tour scheduled for July 2026.
